Samsung Galaxy 3D
Samsung apparently plans to launch a 3D version of its popular handset Galaxy S2, this phone will be called Galaxy 3D which will be a competitor of LG Optimus 3D and HTC EVO 3D.
This rumor came from Korean sites ETNews which added that the Galaxy 3D is likely to be released towards the end of the year as the holiday season gadget.
As reported by IT ProPortal, Tuesday (26/07/2011), the Galaxy 3D will reportedly come with a 4.3-inch WVGA screen capacitive 3D glassless, a 4210 Exynos SoC clocked 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM, 32GB internal memory and an 8 megapixel camera.
The Galaxy 3D also will be using the Android Gingerbread 2.3 operating system and the price will be a little more expensive than the current S2. Most likely when launched later, the Galaxy 3D will be the main handset of the three 3D handsets on the market and probably the most expensive compared to its rival LG Optimus 3D and HTC EVO 3D .
Samsung Galaxy S2 has sold over three million units in the United States. Maybe later in the future, 3D is ultimately the main thing in making a cell phone.
It will be very interesting to see whether Samsung will also decide to upgrade the monitor to QHD and adding its full HD 3D video capture on its Galaxy 3D.
