Asus Transformer Prime on sale

First Tablet PC that carries the Tegra 3 quad-core processor, Asus Transformer Prime finally went on sale and can be ordered starting today. As usual, the first market of transit to the sales market is America, North America precisely. For the price, as has been reported previously, Asus Prime Transformer pricing starts at U.S. $ 499 for the 32 GB model, while in US $ 599 for 64GB capacity model.

Like its predecessor, Asus Transformer Prime tablets have a special holder for attaching a keyboard that looks like as if the laptop that we usually see. Other interesting things from Asus Transformer Prime were seen in the resilience of battery, Asus said the Prime Transformer can last up to 18 hours in normal use.

As for specifics, as already mentioned above, Asus Transformer Prime comes as a tablet first with Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor. In addition, other specifications of the Asus Prime Transformer including 10.1-inch touch screen, 8 megapixel camera (rear), 2 megapixel (front), support MicroSD card slot, microHDMI-out, and run the Android 3.2 Honeycomb operating system.

In his statement, though running Android 3.2 Honeycomb, Asus plans to provide a further update (Android 4.0 Ice Cream) for these tablets as soon as possible. We hope after the start of this sale, the Asus will re-introduce its new tablet in the Asia market, or at least can begin to see sold in early 2012.
